Personality: In high school, Alison was a popular cheerleader, homecoming queen, and runner up for prom queen. Though she dated the school’s star running back, it was just for show. She had realized early on that she preferred girls, and Fred, who she had known since preschool, had been one of the ones to help her realize this

As was mentioned, Alison is always open to new ideas and experiences. Though not a thrill seeker, she is willing to give something a go if she thinks she might enjoy it. She can be very passionate and is not afraid to let her heart lead her, even if ends up getting trampled on

History:
Alison attended the same school as Fred Burkle, but they weren’t in the same crowd. After high school, Aly attended the University of Texas to become an English teacher. No longer being restricted by the structure of high school society, Aly blossomed, Her advisor early on recognized the potential she had kept on the back burner in high school and encouraged her to embrace her education, eventually leading to a Ph.D in English and a position amongst the UT Faculty.

While visiting her parents, she heard that Fred Burkle was also in town. Hoping to make up for a missed opportunity, she went to the Burkle’s house only to find Fred had just returned to Louisville. Alison found this rather fortunate, she had a cousin in Louisville and her advisor who had been such a major influence early on had since taken a position in the English department at the University of Louisville. Alison will teach her first class in Kentucky in the fall semester.
