She became pregnant and he left her in Arizona. So after she gave birth to the baby. The child became her life. She got odd jobs to support herself.

Her father left her money but she doesn't come into her trust fund until she is 25. She took a night course at a local college in broadcast them moved to Louisville to work at Sky. Her teacher got her the job there. Her mother is still living, has two sisters and three brothers around the world.
